Review on ๐Ÿ’จ AIR LIFT 57215 LoadLifter 5000 Series Rear Air Spring Kit - Enhanced Black by Todd Lowry

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Bad kit. Doesn't work as it should.

Not too happy with this one. The quality seems good enough to last a while, but it's by no means suitable. I had to cut and bend the top bracket and then weld it to my frame to make it work. I did not receive any documents in my box and all devices were unpacked and unpacked. While I know enough to figure out how to do this without a guide, it would be nice to get the literature that should have been included. If you flexed your rear suspension too much, the airbags are most likely the limiting factor in flex. I wouldn't be surprised if the airbags eventually fail just because they don't stretch enough to be usable off-road. Thing is, they're starting to do something for my truck with no trailer. They should work fine for me when towing, but I wish they had a little more stretch. They actually work more like an overdrive spring, although I wanted them to work as an assist spring. They do help improve ride quality, but not to the extent I was hoping. Additional sheets would be better for my situation.
