Review on Microphone set RODE NT1 & AI-1 Complete Studio Kit, connector: XLR 3 pin (M), black by Micha ukasiewicz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

Exclusively my opinion! How it all started, I went to a professional studio to record a track for 8000r, I didn’t like it, what’s the point of going again if you can learn it yourself at home. I read everything on the Internet, came to the conclusion that it’s not worth saving on equipment, plus I take it for myself and for many years, mastered the program, in my case Cubase 10.5 Pro, installed plugins and spent the night doing experiments. Chose between 420, 2035 and this. I am satisfied with the purchase. I recommend 100%. If I knew that at home there would be just such a result, I would have bought it for a more expensive amount. I wish you all big hits!

Pros
  • 1. Does not write noise. I thought the microphone was broken because everywhere it was indicated that noise was the main problem for condensers at home, after recording I turned on the record empty from vocals to max on the track and heard a person walking on the street, as well as how the elevator closes and opens on the site. So everything works great. If anyone is interested in how to completely remove all the noise and leave only the useful signal - the Waves x-noze stereo plugin + the most common Gate -50 dB. 2. Recording quality. Smooth clean live sound, it is very pleasant to work with him. 3. Body metal, matte finish. 4. Assembly. High quality equipment. Made in Australia, no foreign countries, all native. 5. You can buy a complete set in one go. 6. Powered sound only from the usb of the computer. 7. Indicator of the incoming signal on the sound. 8. Works without installing third-party programs. 9. Includes a cloth brow for a microphone, I adapted it from dust. 10. Cord length. You can move the microphone around the room. Sound programs are heavy, load on the processor, extra noise.
Cons
  • 1. After 4 hours of active use, the sound system heats up a little, not much. Perhaps this is how it should be, it does not affect the quality of the recording. Of course, 4 hours in a row. Anything will heat up. 2. One entry. You can't record guitar and vocals at the same time, you have to do it in parts. 3. The lack of a case set, the cardboard box was almost immediately torn. 4. There is no adapter for a regular 3.5 headphone input.
