Review on 💎 Sparkling STARHOO Diamond Painting Perfect Sky: 12X16 Canvas by Lori Aguirre

So totally my lucky place. Bright night sky with beautiful colors. And the price can't be beat for the number of colors for a project of this size. I have paid more for less at Diamond Paintings. The grid is easy to read, mostly letters instead of symbols. Don't expect a photorealistic final project when it's done. The finished project will look impressionistic, certainly not as detailed. It would have been better in an even larger size, but it's still a fun project and satisfying as a final piece. I love working on it while listening to audiobooks or music. I would put my patience (or skill) between INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED as the canvas size is medium in relation to the number of colors applied. This screen has 29 colors, which is above average for a screen of this size. You can place longer rows of the same color if you have the tools (they are not included in this set) but of course you will still be dotting in many places. I'd recommend getting a head so you can also place three and six diamonds at a time to go through large areas of the same color faster. Everything you absolutely need for this project is included. My general thoughts on diamond painting: Always check your diamond painting first upon receipt to make sure the adhesive on the canvas reaches all edges of the picture. If not, order a replacement. This is a rare problem and thankfully not encountered with this canvas, but it is the first important step in any project. Diamond painting for me is a relaxing activity, it takes the best parts of puzzle solving and cross stitching and combines them into one activity. The end result is that you get a work of art when you want to use it. Sure, it seems like I'm creating more art than I can realistically use, but for the price of one of these kits, it's cheap therapy. I have a briefcase to store the canvases before and after they are made to keep them flat. The details of the image are certainly not as sharp as in the photo, but make for a pointillist painting with brilliance. I love the art styles of Pointillism and Impressionism, so I like them a lot in many ways.
