We have a baby that needs a diaper change at the end of the day. She moves and the tight swaddling helps her calm down and get ready for bed. It seemed like the perfect solution for keeping her wrapped up at night while still being able to change her diaper (there's a zipper that can go bottom-up or top-down). However, the material is stretchy enough that she can swing her arms around inside the pod. She can also slip her hands through the top as the material is very stretchy. This would be great for a baby who likes to change diapers but doesn't move around much or run away. They just didn't fit our little one. We've had more success with the Halo sleeping bag, which is swaddle-friendly (it also has a zip at the bottom so baby can be swaddled without being swaddled) and the Original Swaddle, as both can be swaddled tightly and keep baby's arms securely in place. .
