Although he hasn't ridden them yet, he's had plenty of opportunities to wear them, as well as the balaclavas that come with them during this year's cold weather. He loved them more than the last two pairs of other brands he had. I assume he'll love them just as much when it comes to snowboarding over spring break. As a parent, the quality seems pretty high. Typical of Columbia products. I would buy them again if needed.
