Not for porting cast heads! The description says they are suitable for cast iron (among other things) with a speed range of 6000-50000 rpm. When used with a 25,000rpm electric straight grinder, which is vastly superior to an air grinder, these long end mills were very prone to shaft deflection. Only slightly different from the truth, the high speed of the grinder severely deformed the shaft in seconds and they were unusable. Cast iron teeth are removed quickly and cleanly. Probably too aggressive for aluminum heads. A tip of the millstone shattered. Destroyed three ridges within 45 minutes. If you're porting cast iron heads, you're better off paying double for a quality tool. Probably suitable for softer materials and much less than 25,000 rpm, so does not work as advertised.
