The package came whole. I pulled all the bits and pieces out of the box, assembled the base and cylinder. I locked the footrest that I bought the chair for to tighten the screw, literally one turn, and it broke off the footrest. I can only assume that the person welding the part needs additional training. I called the company and they sent me a new footrest. I hope it reaches me and I don't have to call you back. If you need this chair for anything, be aware that as the numerous comments say, the part can break. The chair itself looks great, good material just that damn nut/bolt!
