Easily beats the cocktail ninja

I replaced my old Easter blender (white) with this one (black). The motor in the old one is still fine, but the little metal thing attached to the spinning can eventually broke. All parts appear to be the same except the new one was black and the old one was white. This one is a little quieter and appears to be more efficient. I use it almost exclusively for making smoothies. Smoothie Ingredients: 1 cup almond milk, 1 tablespoon peanut butter, 1 tablespoon chocolate powder, 2 frozen bananas, about 1 cup frozen blueberries, and 8-10 large frozen strawberries. I put the strawberries in last, but I have to put them in one at a time. And when I put them in, I take the lid off and mash them with a spoon. The drink is so thick at this point that there is no backsplash. Be careful not to push the strawberries in too far or the blade could scratch the spoon. Anyway, the reason I'm telling you this is because this smoothie is very thick at the end of the process and Oster prepares it more efficiently and quickly than a ninja. I borrowed a ninja from a friend for a week and I like my Easter much better. The way I make my smoothie, I often have to stop the blender and whisk the ingredients back and forth to puree every bit. Oster handles this a little better and much more simply. At Easter I don't open the lid, I turn off the motor and can mix the ingredients or remove the jar and shake. With Ninja, the process consists of two parts: removing the motor, then removing the lid, and then shuffling. And when mixing, ninja blades interfere. Also, the Easter has multiple speeds while the Ninja has one. I love both products but for what I do Oster is better. And cheaper!
