I bought this book to practice sewing patterns and to learn how to use a sewing machine. I've only been sewing for a few weeks so I'm just starting out, but this book has helped me learn a lot such as using a different fabric and more. I have an American Girl doll that has been in my closet since I thought I was too old to play with dolls, but I like to make little pants and shirts to dress her up in. It's very nice to see the results of my work and the dresses are very cute. So far I've sewn the pants and long sleeve shirt, smoothed out the felt patch and it looks great. I am very glad that I bought this book!
