Excellent quality. Highly recommended!

Can't rate this dumpling press highly enough. It is high-quality 18/10 stainless steel. Another reviewer's one star rating is unfounded and needlessly devalues a quality product as the size is not suitable for the buyer's purposes. The item simply should have been returned before it was used. However, to give credit to this reviewer, the issue is that the sizing has never been posted before, so the reviewer couldn't know if the sizing was correct. The outside diameter is 4-3/4", the inside diameter (stuffing area) is 3-3/4", meaning the pressed seam is 1/2" thick. not quite 2-1/2" wide and 4-3/4" long. The product is also advertised on the packaging as a "ravioli former". There is just no mention that it will be huge ravioli. While this press is great for spring rolls, spinach pies, desert burgers, small calzones, or even crescent-shaped samosas, I'm not sure I'd recommend it for ravioli, dumplings, gyoza, or pot stickers. . , because the dumplings get quite big after cooking/steaming (unless you agree). I can absolutely recommend it. As a bonus, when the press is fully open, the base acts as a dough cutter to create custom sized pieces of dough for this press. Unbeatable.
