Good chairs, but not perfect. The seat is a bit small. Great for kids but a little less comfortable for adults but we manage. 1 of our 4 had the wood trim chipped in the first 2 weeks. The other 3 don't show any signs of it yet, so I think it was just a small defect in one spot. I think this can easily be fixed with a paint stick. They are perfect for our countertops. That's why we love the low back. They sit well on the side so you don't have to worry about them hitting the edge when turning. The matte black finish holds up well. Would I buy again as height, shape and pivot were more important than a "deeper" seat.
