Why use insecticides to solve an ant problem? Just put it here! EVERY ant I put in there died. THIS GEL is not nourishing, moisturizing or tunnel safe. I keep real colonies founded by a queen, but I was curious about the killer gel design that I keep hearing nightmare stories about. And this is the truth! I used ant traps to catch several different species of wild ants (not at the same time) in my garden and all species died! DRAIN THE DEATH GEL and you can fill it with a good natural ant-friendly substrate and then everything is fine, not very good but normal for small to medium sized ant species (not reaper or carpenter ants).
