Reviewing Wi-Fi and Non-Wi-Fi Bulbs: Both Have Issues, But They're Still Worth It!

I love this lamp - I bought all three lamps from the same seller so I am leaving a review of all three here. Two of them have a wireless charger and the third doesn't. One of the light settings on the lamp without a wireless charger gets very hot and I don't use that setting. Other than that, this is a fantastic lamp. Two lamps with a wireless charger also have the problem that the wireless charger does not work properly. The wireless "contact” zone of both "Wifi” lamps is extremely small, and only an ultra-thin soft "Capture” strip serves as a "point” for wireless charging. So it's hard to find that middle ground and 90% of the time I can't charge my phone this way. Also, for some reason I can't figure out if I put my iPhone on this band and it starts charging, my phone will never stay where it is. I peel off the strip in seconds whether it has a cover or not. My daughter's cell phone does the same thing. The tables that I have the lamps on are level, so I think the lamps are not level. I wish the Wi-Fi band was a little more "sticky" so it can properly hold my phone for charging. Having said that, I love that the lamp(s) are fully collapsible and I love the digital clock, thermometer, calendar (date) and alarm function (which I think has 9 different alarm tones. Oh Wireless Charging Lamp also has a USB -Port on the back so you can connect your device(s) for normal charging. Unfortunately, the wifi lamp(s) does not have a USB port on the back. The clock is not perfect, so it is powered by one Coin cell battery operated after a few weeks i noticed that the time on the clock was about five minutes behind and i had to reset it again if you are crafting (like i am) or if your child goes from home to school and has a table lamp needs, you will still need it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
