This is my first small/personal blender and I love it so far, much more than the swamp blender I have. What I like is its portability and ease of maintenance. I use it to make smoothies for breakfast and chutneys for lunch or dinner. You can just throw in the ingredients and get to work. Super easy to clean. Easy to use. I also crush some ice in my smoothie and that works well too. My main complaints are that I have to take the jar out and shake it once or twice to get whatever's on top straight into the mix. Besides, I won't trust this operation for long. I believe it is not intended to be used in this way. The first two uses, I only smelled slightly of burnt plastic. Not anymore, I think I've learned to use it properly.
