Review on 💡 Coast HP1 190 Lumen Pure Beam Focusing LED Flashlight in Sleek Black Design: A Powerful Lighting Solution by Maurice Vianes

I have a lot of flashlights - about 100 different flashlights. I've tested flashlights ranging in price from $1 to $200 and everything in between. Lately I've been liking lights that are in the lower third of the price spectrum. The build quality of these 60$ 10$ flashlights has improved so much over the past few years that they are surpassing my best flashlights from just 5-10 years ago. While my high-end mission-critical tubes are still improving, they don't seem to be improving as fast as mid-range tubes. I always have a quality light in my 72 hour kits, but I carry lights like this Coast HP1 a lot more often. I lose flashlights much more often than flashlights on duty, so this is very important when choosing flashlights. There are flashlights that offer better performance for the price, by a small margin the Coast HP1 won my EDC flashlight spot because it fits best in the tool pocket of my 5.11 TacLite pants. The build quality is excellent, there are no dozens of useless modes, it works for a long time on one AA battery, it keeps heat well, it is very water resistant (I submerged it in water several times). Most importantly, it doesn't have all the knurling and ribs that many other "tactical" flashlights have. This makes it very easy to remove and put back in your pocket without fraying the fabric. The lack of fins on the emitter does not seem to affect it, it seems that it does not overheat at all. It doesn't focus as well as some other adjustable lights, but that's a very small caveat compared to how well it fits in my pocket. Every other app has a few different flashlights that I'd rather choose, but this is the one that fits in my pocket.
