fragile, but it works. We have an above ground Intex pool. We needed something for sunglasses, books, phones and drinks. This is fine for "light" items, but avoid anything heavy. The tray adjusts to any size but extends either IN the pool or OUT of the pool. We placed ours so the ledge was outside the pool. If it was too heavy or hit, things would fall to the ground instead of into the pool. Overall it works for what we wanted. Less Heavy Books! We plan to use it in our hot tub this fall.
