I bought this to check where my black dog is in the house at night (he likes to curl up in weird dark corners). I first bought a HiGuard LED Dog Collar (Green) but it was too bright when she lay on the bed at night. This blue collar is not that bright but still too bright to sleep next to, especially when it's flashing. In constant light mode, it lasts most of the night. It's pretty dark before dawn, but still light enough to see where she is when she's not in bed. Ideally, for my purposes, it should be less bright at the beginning and brighter later. Charging takes a few hours. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't have a buckle so every time she puts it on you have to take one end out and put it back in. It doesn't seem like a good idea in the long run so I cut it off so I can just slip it over her head without having to tug/tuck it in every time.
