Surprisingly weak bass. Barely enough bass at maximum volume. To make sure there weren't any line input problems, I hooked up my Jamo SW400E, which is also a 10-inch 100W unit, using the same input and layout. Jamo plays more bass at minimum volume than Sony SACS9 at maximum volume. No improvement from phase matching or cutoff. Also, the switch and dial markings on the Sony are almost impossible to read, being just slightly raised, tiny black on black. To make matters worse, the Sony has the power button in the bottom corner on the back. Very awkward access position. Very disappointed with the design and performance of the Sony SACS9.
