I am an aging ex-athlete and had trouble sleeping due to joint pain. I found that after rotator cuff repair surgery, I slept better if I had something to listen to to distract me from the post-operative pain while I sat in a chair with a wrist brace all night. A few years later, I found that shoulder pain and other pains often interfered with normal sleep. A friend of mine mentioned headband sleep headphones and I thought it might be worth a try. These headphones were an inexpensive way to try. My first night was tough. I usually sleep on my side and have found that the hard round plastic disc drivers in the headband can hurt me while sleeping. Placed in the right place they might be ok but they move a bit when I move around at night and they are thicker than the 0.25 inch promised on the listing. Their actual dimensions are 0.35 inches (8.9 mm) x 1.2 inches. (30.6mm) hard plastic. A few days after writing a very negative review on my first very uncomfortable overnight use, I tried again. I positioned the speakers exactly where I wanted, adjusted the depth of the pocket on each side that the speakers are in and found that I can slide the speaker back into position against the safety pin when things get uncomfortable, without fully waking up to solve him The problem. It's not a perfect solution but it's workable, I sleep better and I can sew the seam where the safety pin is for a more permanent solution. The sound quality of this headset is just normal. colloquial words I hear when I fall asleep, or white noise and sounds of nature. But I wouldn't recommend it for listening to music. The bass is very flat and the upper treble range is weak, flat and tinny. These are cheap headphones and you get what you pay for. Battery life is good. I can sleep all night and when I wake up they're still running. You need a slow (not fast) USB-C charger to charge the batteries, so my regular phone charger won't work with them. Here are the last two things I can add to my review. At first I didn't notice my wife snoring softly while I was using it, but I found that if I rested my forearm on my forehead where the controls are, I could press the pause-play button while I slept. So not a very good sleeping solution, but I found a way to get it working. I think those who sleep on their backs or stomachs will be more satisfied with that.
