This 8K USB C-HDMI adapter works great! Ever since I bought a new SONY 8K HDTV, I want to connect my laptop to a big screen for the perfect picture. So I bought this small compact 8K USB-C HDMI adapter hoping it would work with 8K resolution on my HP Specter X360 - SONY KD-85Z9G 8K TV. Initially, the maximum allowed settings were 4K@30Hz, 8K didn't appear as an option. I then tried setting the screen resolution to 7680 x 4320 in the Intel Graphics Control Panel of my HP Specter X360 and used the enhanced mode to play videos on the TV. It worked! I tested 8K at 30Hz and 4K at 120Hz with HDR enabled, which renders quickly and the 8K image quality looks perfect. That really is a bang for the buck! I also have to say something about the packaging - it's wonderful! No extra bulky or difficult-to-open tabs or anything that requires scissors or pliers. The end connections are solidly built and the braided cable feels strong and very thin. Space Gray also works very well for my devices. Well done. In general I am satisfied with the purchase, so far it works perfectly. Well worth the money, I highly recommend this 8K USB-C to HDMI adapter :)
