Plates came in a set of four for each item type. There were small and large plates. Four bowls and four cups. Cups, bowls and plates are all a good size. I bought these as a housewarming gift for our neighbors, I'm sure they will be delighted to receive them! In addition, the glass was well packaged because you could make sure that the dishes were not damaged during transport.
