I was thrilled to find a protein powder that was dairy-free (whey-free) and not plant-based. It doesn't irritate my gastrointestinal tract like whey and pea proteins do. (I have IBD.) Mixes well in a shaker and works better if you're not using very cold water. But it mixes much better with a blender. (If the blender is set too high or used too long, it will mostly create foam.) Don't leave it in the fridge for too long after blending or it will turn into a pudding-like, gel-like texture. I love that it's sugar free, but wish it was stevia free! Too much stevia and not enough cocoa. And finally, it is WAY overpriced. I won't buy again unless they lower the price and offer an unflavored version with no additives, no "natural flavors" or stevia.
