Very happy with it! I got my ears pierced over 30 years ago but the 1/8 inch back just kept closing up. I've pierced other earrings for special occasions and weddings over the years, but I wanted to do it "right" and let it heal properly. Earrings for beginners in ear piercing. The process itself was very simple. Upon inspection, one of the earrings had a bent shank, but it was just crooked in the setting. I washed my hands and rubbed my ears thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Then I lined up the earring in the partial hole already there, closed the device just enough to securely capture my earlobe in the right spot, then counted to 3 and squeezed! A little tweak and you're done. I repeated the process again on the other side and you're done! I'm not a big fan of the earrings themselves, because when I sleep, the studs stick to the back of my neck. That's why I bought Huggie's earrings so I can sleep comfortably in them and leave the earrings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I thought I'd keep these starter earrings in case I want to pierce something else, but honestly the set of earrings is so cheap that I'll just buy more if I need them in the future. The set does not appear to be reusable. . With use, the plastic earring holder falls apart. In case anyone is wondering, there doesn't seem to be a locking mechanism. I was a little worried that if I pushed too hard before use it would snap and not open fully, but that didn't happen. It just opens and closes on the line and won't get stuck in any position (except open). Definitely recommend it. They appear to have been autoclaved (germ free) but you never know so I cleaned both earring pins before using. Would buy if needed.
