Luminaires that require these lamps are poorly designed.
Very difficult to install. One broke while installing. These are the lightbulbs in the lamp under the closet in our office. I can change the light that I don't like so much. When I put them in at 7pm they didn't work. They turned on in the middle of the night, a few hours after they were deployed. I read at one in the morning and then the light came on. frightening. Try not to buy a fixture that requires these bulbs.
