I haven't tried other card types yet. But my card said HID0009 so I decided to give it a try. This worked great for a contactless HID card. I was worried it wouldn't happen because the description says a bunch of other card types. But all you have to do is point the machine at the correct card (in this case after selecting HID mode) and it will read the number. You then insert one of the blank white cards that come with the kit into the back of the reader. And then press write. It worked with the same front door, laundry and elevator permissions as the card he cloned. It worked. and instantly earned.
