The handle should make it easier to use, however I found it easier to just put on rubber gloves and use the pumice stone which I had without the handle. "less" than the pumice stone I already have. They also wear out much quicker than the original. If you have a lot of hard water stains, you can easily use a whole stone and only remove half of the stain.
