This portable radio has strong and clear FM reception, although it has a large telescopic antenna for extra indoor assistance. The AM receiver is powerful too, you just need to check which AM band you're tuned into. SW is not my strong topic, I will update later. Radio recording features come in very handy in our digital age. The voice recording sounds very good. The battery takes almost four hours to fully charge during the first three recommended charge cycles. After that, you can disable battery charging mode and enable it by simply pressing the menu button, but remember to unplug the power cord after the battery is fully charged. The battery will charge for an average of 48 hours of continuous earphone listening to FM radio. The sound in the headphones is amplified exceptionally well. Stereo speakers are not designed for quality listening to music, although audio is loud and clear for voice/talk shows. The MP3 music player has an excellent selection of equalizers. Travelers appreciated the full-featured on/off timers, including RDS clock update and global FM frequencies.
