    Impressive radio with MP3 and WAV recording.

    Very good radio. I can receive a low power FM station that I cannot duplicate on any other radio in my home. The only negative note is that when I start recording a station with a low signal strength, the recording process creates noise that is included in the recording. This radio exceeded all my expectations. The seller sent promptly.

    Disappointed: Portable Audio & Video

    I wanted this radio to be liked a lot more, but it has one big problem. It works fine when listening to MP3, and then it starts to fall out in MP3 chunks. The radio has good reception but the sound has no basis at all. The MP3 player has an equalizer setting but nothing affects the radio. Also, the Revain listing didn't mention that it was refurbished, but there was a sticker on the box to indicate it was.

    Works great, haven't tried all the features yet.

    Everything works fine. The tuner works fine on FM but RDS works but tries to classify the station so you end up with a smaller display. I got an extra battery here for about $5 and a separate charger for about the same. Sleep mode seems to be draining the battery. I have to check again. It lasts 10 hours on a single charge with RDS and at moderate volume. Sometimes I put it back in its case or drape a towel over it to give it more depth. Very easy to use for a Grundig guy.

    Great Radio in Radios

    I am a radio amateur and have built over 50 radios in the last ten years. This is a newbie as it can record shows that air while I'm working in my office. With this radio I never miss an important show again. It's small, compact and sounds great. But this software isn't as sharp as my other builds, like Tecsun 9700 or 9702, or Sangen, or Grundig Potable duster. Still, I love this wonderful radio. The only downside is that the recording you make with this radio is not in MP3 format.

    Good to very good Radio part, AM FM SW and MP3 work well though. the only grip on it simply falls off at the slightest provocation and is soon lost. The writing on all the buttons is too small and the saddest thing is that the choice of red writing on black meant that the radio could only be used in ideal lighting conditions. I noticed that Supersaver's free shipping option allows the seller to wait 3 to 4 days before shipping the radio. An $80 radio should include a wall charger, and operation

    Great little radio if you can find one for sale.

    I found my G2 on sale at Fry's for $40 so I'm not complaining too much about it. Its tiny speakers look like metal, but I'm using mine with an optional Microlab MD220 speaker and they sound great. Shortwave is convenient and interesting for recording. I bought a 16GB micro SD card and uploaded MP3 and WMA files to it. It plays great, except it can't play MP3s recorded at 320k resolution (the manual says so), which makes up the bulk of my collection. Too bad. It has its downsides, but it's a…

    Portable Radio: Shortwave Radios

    I am not very happy with this radio. FM reception is good but the AM band is weak. Also, the sound is just honest. It has many functions, but the radio's instructions are very vague and difficult to understand. I have to admit that it picks up FM stations quite well, but as I said, the AM band is poor and has a lot of interference.     Great portable stereo, good things come in small packages.

    This portable radio has strong and clear FM reception, although it has a large telescopic antenna for extra indoor assistance. The AM receiver is powerful too, you just need to check which AM band you're tuned into. SW is not my strong topic, I will update later.     Pretty cool to me. It has many features that I don't use, but the ones that I use work and I'm happy with them. The alarm clock (you can program multiple alarms) is loud and repeats many times if you set it that way. I'm a deep sleeper and I can trust that to wake me up.
