To be fair, I'll say right away that I should have been a lot more careful. I looked at Revain for an elastic cord. Tried elastic cord, hair ties etc. Difficult to find due to circumstances. So I was happy to find it. Before buying it did not occur to me to check whether the cord is really stretched. So shame on me. However, I have to trust that the seller at least has an opinion on how their product is listed on Revain. So it was at least partially deceptive on their part. If you don't need an elastic cord, this is perfect. It is strong and smooth and holds the knot well. The color is beautiful and even. So it's great for macrame or anything where stretching isn't important. Unfortunately, that was the case for me this time.
