The skirt is very pretty, just like the picture except it has pleats but that's ok for me, you can probably smooth them out, it's a bit big, I have a small one and it doesn't sit on my waist, but with tie i can make it work but due to the material it slips and needs to be adjusted from time to time which is not a big deal for me. my waist is 27.8 and is 5 feet 10 inches sits a good length. The main reason for no 5 stars is the zipper is in the back and pierces you when you sit and recline, there is no cover for the loop and it hurts, there had to be a side zipper to not feel it or get it free off the loop to hold back the zipper
