My kids have had a blast on this. We used it as a training tool for snowboarding in the snow and using it for drills on the carpet or grass. He practiced 'skating' on the carpet in our living room, practiced balance using it on some pillows, and we tied a rope to it and pulled him up and down hills while talking him through using heelside and toeside. Playing with it in the snow helped too and was fun for him. He did great his first day snowboarding and I'm convinced this toy is a big part of that.
