LOVE THIS SLEEVE! The pencil was easy to attach. I put the pen in the pod and slowly let it fill by gently sliding the pod all the way to the tip of the pen. Just don't try to force it down, because then it will be difficult to put it on. Writing just got a lot easier now. Silicone not only ensures comfort, but also ensures a good grip and prevents fingers from slipping off the pen. As for the thickness, I'd say that's the ideal ratio. It's not too thick and not too thin. Just the right thickness. It doesn't feel bulky when holding a pencil. I would say that I highly recommend using a paper-like screen protector. It really goes hand in hand with a pencil. Writing on the iPad is much easier.
