this is just the thing for me to buy the cheapest. The announcement text is almost inaudible, no matter how close I get to the microphone or how loud I speak. Due to the poorly translated user manual, it takes more than an hour to figure out how to set the time, record a greeting, and play back a received message. Even after that we have a new message that doesn't play - this is only the third message we've received on this phone. The handset crackles like it's thirty years old, not a new cable. Never, EVER buy Coby products. Is always.
