My fiance and I are both fat so I was worried how well the retractable part would support us so I thought we gave it a Try these. I have used them several times and I really like them. They fit under the slide easily and seem to support it really well. I recommend that if you are camping somewhere where the ground underneath you can be a little soft (mud, gravel, etc.) that you put a piece of wood underneath to increase the footprint, just like you should with their stabilizers. I have some 2x12 12" pieces and this seems to work great.
