I looked through a lot of splitters and did not find a working one. Crossed my fingers when I put this in my Blu-Ray so I could display the same motion on TV and projector/cinema - and the Son of a Gun really worked. There is no lag in the image, the thing is nice and compact, I fixed it to the back wall of the closet, fixed the cables - I did notice flickering with the projector signal a couple of times, but I'm not sure if that's the case is due to the splitter or cable - remains to be seen. This device requires AC power and comes with a US adapter. Good luck - I recommend this item and the packaging is great too.
