Bought to power a filter coffee maker and used for two weeks. It pours excellently with no risk of spilling or misdirection, and since plastic doesn't wet well, almost no water stays in the glass. I weigh the water I use to brew, so the graduations are a bit out of place, although useful as a guide. I run the coffee maker once and only use water (not weighed) to heat the vacuum jug, so I make two fills most of the time. There are four liter scales for liquids and four graduation sets for different solids. This can be confusing at first, so it's a good idea to carefully inspect the device before using it for the first time. There are no instructions, but they are not needed. The bottom of the jug is non-slip and quite reliable.
