I love looking at reality in different spectra than what our unaided eyes can see. When I realized that my microscope wasn't powerful enough to see the veins on a flower petal, for example, I realized I needed something more powerful. . I personally like this arrangement much better than looking at an object on a smaller microscope screen. There's also a 32GB micro SD card included for storing images and videos, but I can always use larger cards for longer sessions. There are two metal arms to hold the object and you can see in the video posted that it keeps the rose petals from moving. With lighter objects, they are troublesome because they are shifted the slightest by silk threads, etc., and when viewed in super zoom mode, it is difficult to find the exact part after the shift. There is also a line printer on the base of the microscope that can be used for size. I like the ease with which the microscope can be raised and lowered for a better view, which is accomplished by scrolling the dial on the back of the shaft/stem. I can get a sharper, clearer image by rotating the lens itself through a cutout in the plastic.
