Review on LSI MegaRAID 9260-8i 8-Port SAS RAID Controller by Johnny Grant

I bought the 9260-8i on the 16th of January. The item was listed as "New". I waited for the rest of my server to arrive to test the card, resulting in not having a 30 day return window. I turned on the server expecting the map to work, but I was very disappointed. Upon closer inspection, the card clearly shows dirt stains and what appears to be water stains and possible damage. Since the card is not working and has obviously been edited before, I can only assume that this item is "restored" and not new. I would probably be okay with that if it actually worked! However, this item gets the lowest ratings because it's even more useless than setting my money on fire.
