I bought two of these faceplates for my XB1 controllers and am thrilled with how they turned out (see photo for results). The main reason I wanted to replace my faceplates was because I hate textures on base controllers. The base bezels have a grainy texture that makes them very uncomfortable to hold in my hand. I've opted for shiny, translucent materials, which not only look great, but also feel a lot better in the hand. I like the smooth finish of these wear plates. While the material is definitely more slippery, the backs of the controllers still have plenty of texture and offer a perfect feel in the hands. Installation was easy and took 5 to 10 minutes per controller. The hardest part is removing the controller's rear brackets, which takes a bit of effort. Otherwise, simply remove the screws, reposition the front panel, replace the screws, and reattach the rear brackets. Note that the last screw is behind a sticker in the battery compartment when replacing your bezel. In general, the panels installed without any problems. There were no cracks or defects and the material appears to be very durable. The fit on the controllers is excellent with no gaps or protrusions. Even the Xbox button is perfectly centered on both controllers. If you're looking for something great to enhance the look of your controller, you can't go wrong with these faceplates. Now that these faceplates are in place, I'm having a lot more fun using my controllers.
