Worked great to weatherproof the underside of my aging garage door. The aluminum is quite thick, which is good. The instructions say to use a hacksaw - too much work. I used a miter saw (put on goggles and earmuffs and move slowly) to cut each end to size. Just make sure the underside where the rubber goes is facing out (remove the rubber before cutting, of course) so the blade doesn't catch on the edges and bend or warp your new piece! Also remember to check the cut on the door and then insert the rubber into the gap - trim to fit then pinch the ends last before putting the door on. I also added some Gorilla Glue to each end of the rubber. Otherwise, the elastic at the bottom may not stay in place. Guess I have to keep an eye on changing the rubber - while it seems strong enough - it doesn't last forever and will eventually wear out. Seems very durable and will last a while!
