Okay, what's up with some of these ridiculous negative reviews? It's a freaking bell folks! If it makes a loud ring, which it does, then it's going to alert everyone's attention! Yes, it doesn't have the old school ring, but this bell is simple and its durable construction makes it better. It's also very streamlined and doesn't stand out very much. I will say one of the bells in the 2 pack was not ringing very well. After close examination I realized when the bell was at rest the striker was touching the bell. Taking the bell apart is simple with included wrench. A very light bend of the striker to put a very small gap between it and the bell was needed. Voila! Fixed!
