I really wasn't expecting much for the price. When it arrived and I opened the box, felt the materials and struggled to connect the two halves of the mop, my skepticism grew. I took this mop for the specific job of applying floor rejuvenator to my hardwoods. I usually put it in a spray bottle and use my Bona and a special pad, spray the floor, mop, spray the floor, mop - and if you've ever spent an hour or two pulling the spray gun trigger, you know how tiring and it can be painful. My concern is that it's urethane that clogs the sprayer on a mop like this, but for the price I wouldn't be heartbroken if it only lasted one application - I'd happily pay $25 twice a year if the task was that simple is. Well, as my title suggests, I was pleasantly surprised. Filled, gasket attached and to work. The spray handle is smooth and easy to squeeze, the sprayer gives off a nice mist that covers a large area and distributes a large amount of product. Squeezing the pin slowly allows me to spray a shorter and more concentrated amount when I'm near a wall or next to a carpet so I don't spray too much. The more vertical the handle, the shorter the range of the sprayer, so you can learn how much and how far to spray in just a few minutes. The pad seems to work well when spreading the product. Its good width means you can spread out and wash a larger area in less time. I really didn't have to go through the same section more than once. This little inexpensive mop quickly and easily did a job I usually dread. I applied 3 coats and then rinsed the bottle out really well and sprayed with warm water so hopefully if I do it again in 6 months it will work just as well! I don't know how well this will hold up with regular use, the materials are thin or how well the pad will hold up through washing, but in terms of value for money it hits the mark.
