Review on Conair BB075W Pro Blackbird Hair Dryer - Ultra Powerful 2000 Watt Styling Tool by Deb Wach

Just bought another Conair Blackbird after my last one died. I bought it for the same reason I bought it before: no other hair dryer on the market gets as hot or as powerful; not even close. Unfortunately, while his punching power is great, his sustained power is terrible. This is the fifth - FIFTH! - I've been buying Blackbird from Revain since 2010. The old Conair I originally had (same model, different color) lasted over 20 years. But replacement? One lived 7 years. The rest are between 1 and 3. Is this the latest? 2 1/2 Like others who have posted here, it's an on/off switch that invariably fails eventually, usually just out of warranty. I really hate throwing good money over bad over and over again, especially since this bug isn't new and Conair doesn't want to fix it. If I knew of another hair dryer with the same performance, I would take it. And I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who can't afford to throw away $50 a year or so on an unreliable product.
