Works great and looks identical in design to the original keys. For self-programming it is necessary that you have two functioning original key fobs. I was fortunate enough to keep two of my original keys, although they have no buttons and only work when interacting properly with the circuit board. New keys must be made before you can complete the programming step. My local hardware store has cut keys for about $3.25 each. Programming was incredibly easy. Insert the original key #1. Turn on the key (do not start the engine). Wait 10 seconds and then remove the key. Insert the original key #2. Turn the key back in (do not start the engine). Wait 10 seconds for your dashboard security light to come on. Take out the key. Insert the new key #1 within 10 seconds. Turn the key back on (do not start the engine). The security light should turn off after a few seconds. The new key must be programmed. Repeat the whole process for all other new keys.
