Works with hard drives and HDMI but slows down when connecting keyboard and mouse

The name says it all. It is ideal for connecting hard drives and monitors. However, when I connect a Logitech Unifying receiver for my keyboard and mouse, the response is very late, to the point where I can't use either the mouse or keyboard. This receiver works great with other USBC hubs.
