Having just touched on traditional wet shaving (ie brush and razor DE EJDE89BL) I must first say how much I enjoyed shaving. I first bought a Van Der Hagen brush, bowl and bar of soap at Wal-Mart for $8.60. and really enjoyed the shave. With some internet research I've certainly found that the badger silverhair tip is considered the Roll-Royce of brushes, but what's the end goal? Is this to create a thick creamy lather or am I missing something? Will a silver tip create foam faster? Maybe, but is 15-20 seconds worth the extra $50-$150? Not for me. This brush does the job and feels great on the face. Not only do I recommend this brush to a friend, I also give it 5 stars for you.
