I bought these to keep one in the car and one in my wife's car. We saw it advertised somewhere and thought it would help us save time and make it easier to clear snow and ice in the morning. I was wrong. I had a chance to use it one morning when there was a light frost (no snow or ice) so I took it out and started trying to clean the windshield. I applied enough pressure I thought if I slipped I would break the windshield and it scratched almost nothing. Not sure if the type of plastic used isn't strong enough or the design is flawed, but it's good enough that I didn't try to get another and used my old scraper instead.
