Installation on the 17R/N7110 was fairly easy. Most of the work was done by my 10 year old son. The screws are small, so be careful not to lose them. The new screen was in good condition with no dead pixels. A tip: The YouTube video we watched didn't describe how to unplug the video cable. We first unplugged the cable from the old screen, starting at the side of the laptop (as opposed to the side of the screen), which gave us some freedom. The connector then slid parallel to the screen surface. The video gave the impression that they were pulling up perpendicular to the screen.
