Review on 🗺️ Garmin nüvi 1200 GPS Navigator: Compact 3.5-Inch Portable Device for Effortless Navigation by Tony Suggs

Cons: I really wanted people to like this device, after all Garmin has a good reputation. And there are many positive reviews. I was very hesitant to buy this unit as there were only bad reviews (on the 1200/1250) for many months. now i know why The 1200 was pretty hard to set up and update, mostly just boring. It would suit me if after all the device was a useful product. It's not like this. My 1200's touchscreen appears to be miscalibrated. For example, if you type "n" you sometimes get "u". It then hangs during data entry, I'm trying to login to Paramus, NJ. (I install the NJ manually, the unit is *fully* updated with the latest card software and firmware.) Typing "P" and "a" is an ordeal. I pressed the Done button 10-15 times and waited for it to defrost. "Newark" is fine. sometimes. The hanging seems random, like the CPU is trying to do something else. However, it has nothing to do other than react to the touchscreen and perform simple database searches. When he told me there was no match for Paramus, he found it on his next try. I'm wondering if the thing is junk in every way from design to execution to mapping, or maybe the processor is from a calculator? . I'm not impatient, nor would I be comfortable getting lost on the freeway battling the weird quirks of this device if that's all there is. I do not think so. I could go on for 3 more pages about how bad this is. I'll give it back or get run over by a truck. Pro: It would be simple and easy to use if it worked.
