Love it on my Dakota 03. Much cheaper than the OEM design and not a problem for me.

Installed in my 2003 Dodge Dakota with no issues. It's not the same as the OEM design but seems to work fine. I drilled a 1/16th hole to allow coolant to seep through like the OEM design and while it doesn't close the passage like the OEM I haven't had any problems so far. Actually my truck drives pretty cool and I live in Oklahoma and in June and July I was able to travel to Phoenix, LA, San Francisco, Reno, through Nevada and Utah on Hwy 50 to Denver and then back to the Oklahoma City area. It stayed nice and cool even in the 120 degree heat in Phoenix when I was there one day. I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota 4.7L and also the system pressure has dropped 2psi from 18 to 16 which really lowers the boiling point. a bit, but everything worked out great. The truck works great at 180 degrees.
